I'm Marci, a Los Angeles based Illustrator. Thank you for visiting my website!

Creating art has been my passion since I was a child.

From building Japanese villages in shoeboxes, designing greeting cards and melting crayons on rocks (not the safest activity for a child), I've always loved making things. I enjoy experimenting with various media and getting lost in the process. Lately, I enjoy using acrylic paint, collage and doing digital work on my iPad.

Before an illustration career, I worked for a large corporation.

As an adult I spent most of my time in a cubicle drawing colorful doodles and portraits all over my meeting notes. I learned a lot about business and loved collaborating on projects during those twenty plus years.

Then it happened... after one month's notice, I packed up my art supplies and decided to make my dreams come true!

I'm inspired by many things.

Research, spending time in nature, animals (lots of animals) and teaching art in various elementary schools, (through the Ventura County Arts Council) are just a few of the things that inspire me. The list keeps growing!

My hope is to create more positivity in the world through my work.
